The annual World AIDS Day Church Service was held at the St. John’s Seventh-day Adventist Church on Nevis Street. In attendance were the Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda, His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams, and his wife, Her Excellency Lady Williams.

Also present was the Minister of Health, Sir Molwyn Joseph, along with representatives from the Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross, Voices, the Ministry of Health, HOPE and the HIV Network, Women Against Rape, MESH, and many other well-wishers and partners in the national HIV response.

The HIV/AIDS Clinical Care Coordinator, Dr. Maria Perriera, was also in attendance, lending her support to the occasion.
