NSWMA Removes Over 48 Abandoned Vehicles in Vila and Yorks as Part of National Clean-Up Drive
The National Solid Waste Management Authority says over four dozen abandoned cars, buses, SUVs and pickups have been removed from the Vila and Yorks communities in the past week. The authority has been keenly focused on addressing the health and security hazard posed by these disused vehicles in communities nationwide.
It says this is part of its intensified national clean-up efforts aimed at improving aesthetics, and is urging residents to play their part by exhibiting greater civic pride.
