Secured US $32.7 million in grant funding from the Green Climate Fund

WE DID IT! After years of late nights and early mornings, the Antigua Barbuda Department of Environment was successful in securing US $32.7 million in grant funding from the Green Climate Fund for the Project “Resilience to Hurricanes In the Building Sector in Antigua and Barbuda”, also known as GCF Build. This project will assist in the transformation and improvement of a number of critical services buildings in Antigua and Barbuda to structures which would be resilient to the adverse effects of climate change particularly more intense and frequent hurricanes.
